I'm off the crutches!! yay! I was a little sad after I saw the doctor, though, because she said I can't do ANY cardio for 2 months. I can't even do the cross trainer or recumbent bike. I have to wear a brace in my shoe (no cast because it's too restrictive), which means I can only wear running/athletic shoes. That's gonna look good at J and E's wedding this weekend :-( She said I can only walk, no running, and not to even try running for 2 months.
Yesterday I went to the gym to work out for the first time since the injury. I did upper body, abs, and was actually able to comfortably do hamstrings and quads, so I guess it's better than nothing.
My hubby (eeee!) has been so wonderful through all this. When I was on crutches he did everything around the house, fetched things for me, fed me, watered me, pushed me around the grocery store and Cosco in a wheelchair, drove me everywhere, and rubbed my calf every night. It really sucks to lose your independence, but he made it bearable. I have to also give credit to my wonderful brother, Kev, who called Brian to tell him that Bath and Body Works was having a huge sale and it would probably cheer me up if he took me shopping. Which he did last night.
I still can't drive yet, but at least I can walk so now I can actually contribute to household chores. Today I'm going in to the office for the first time in many weeks. I do like working from home but I need to see my boy, Jack. I missed him.

Hi!
No. Haven't had peas yet, but I plan to have them with chip butties in the very near future. I found small bars of Cadbury's at Walmart yesterday. Imagine my excitement!!!
