Flying solo

This weekend Brian has a driving class in Houston. He's really excited about it. It's a two day class where they teach you how to get the most out of your car, and you get to drive really fast! Brian's super excited about it. I decided to stay in Austin and try to be productive.

I plan to repaint the bedroom (this will be its third colour), clean the house, attend a couple of halloween parties, and hopefully end up downtown sometime over the weekend to check out all the costumes. I'm going to miss Brian, though. This is our first halloween apart in 3 years. Sigh.
On Monday, I hope to see Ethan in his Spiderman outfit. I don't usually buy halloween candy for many reasons, the biggest one being lack of will power to not eat all of it, and the fact that I don't like children ;-) But this year I will make an exception because I hope Ethan will show up and say "Twick or tweet aaauntie!!".
