"Dance" class was awesome last night, though we missed Julia. We can all tell we're getting stronger with each class, which is really cool. I always leave class with a new bruise and last night's class was no exception. It is, however, in a very strange place. It's on the bottom of my foot. I know exactly when it happened. I did an un-graceful dismount from my pole and landed mostly on my right foot, right on the ball. It hurt really bad at the time and took me a good five minutes to brush it off. When I woke up this morning, I noticed I have a black bruise on the bottom of my foot, and a greenish blue bruise on the top of my foot that lines up with it perfectly.
Today (saturday), Brian and I went to a few jewelry stores to check out wedding bands for him. He picked out a couple but none are exactly what he wants so we'll continue to look. We are looking at titanium and tungsten because they are more scratch resistant than platinum, and they weigh less.
After ring shopping we headed down to the drag (for non-Texans, that's the area around the university), where I got my tattoo on my shoulder redone. It's been 10 years (almost 11) since I got it and it was looking a little old and blurry. This guy Carlos at Diablo Rojo (www.diablo-rojo.com) did it. It looks so much better now. He gave the dolphin a better blue colour and added some more detail.
Now we're camped out in front of the TV and Brian is yelling at the TV.
YEAH! HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!!!
